Experimental electronica connoisseur Dessauer has dropped the title track from his new EP, ‘Limbic Resistance’. It’s a complex patchwork of unique electronic sounds, with fierce basslines rolling out over a gritty soundscape of pads and distorted synths. His voice is heavily (and cleverly) edited, but ripples with catchy, melodic energy. Limbic Resistance is inspired by his family’s expulsion from Nazi Germany, and his own incorrect bipolar diagnosis in his early teens. Expanding, he says: “I’m actually one of the most optimistic people I know. It’s comical really.
